YAMweb® Adds Open Access Journals and Digital Repositories to Fundraising Affiliate Program

The YAMweb® Mobile Learning Cloud introduces an advocacy-based fundraising strategy for open access publishers and digital repositories. Base on the hybrid business concepts for open-access publishing presented by UNESCO 1, the fundraising model combines the systematic effects of fundraising with the continued support for networking of scientific research.

The Fundraising Affiliate Program strategy is a shared revenue model earning affiliates revenue from educational sales linked through their programs web site.

Affiliates place creatives on their web pages that link to the YAMweb® eStore. Each creative contains a coded link to a specific product in the eStore. Whenever anyone purchases through the creative, the affiliate earns a percentage of the revenue recorded by the link. The program is free and does not require the pre-purchase of any product or service.

Currently, revenues are earned from the sale of the edMobile Metrics research reports to students, academic researchers and corporate education programs. The YAMweb® PDF Encryption Services will be added September 1, 2018 and in January 2019, revenues will be earned from the professional development and extended learning courses available through the YAMweb® Cloud learning center.

Interested publishers and repositories should review the specifics of the Fundraising Affiliate Program at https://yamweb.org/fundraising-affiliate-program/ and download the program FAQ’s for more information.
